Ride Log

I’ve been going on a number of group scooter rides over the past couple of years. I don’t always think to log them on the GPS or set up a camera, but there have been a few that I have. This is a log of those rides.

Country Ride, 2025-06-08

This was a Twist & Play ride, led by Evan. It started in North Portland, went across the St. John’s Bridge, then over the hills to beautiful country farmland.

Short: Railroad Trestle

Short: Oh, Deer!

The second leg (I forgot to record a GPX file) returned along a similar route but ended at The Knock Back. My camera also ran out of juice not too far back into Portland.

Wisconsin Old Fashioned Ride, 2025-06-01

This was a Twist & Play ride, led by Jordan. The group hit up two pubs that serve the Wisconsin old fashioned.

Memorial Day Ride, 2025-05-26

This was a fun ride on Memorial Day, led by Matt. I missed capturing the first leg, but did get the second and third legs in one file. We started at Henry Higgins Bagels on Foster, went out to Scouters Mountain Park, down to Willamette Falls, then up to Lucky House.

No map or GPX file, but you know where Marine Drive is. Just ride it. It’s fun.

Mount Tabor, 2024-07-04

A basic ride on July 4th. This was on the electric Vespa, testing out a 3rd-person style camera rig while going up and around Mount Tabor, finishing with a trip around Division and Hawthorne.
